James has a background in information technology, service delivery and communications in a corporate environment. He has been involved with community theatre companies for many years, volunteering in off-stage roles and as a committee member. James is also an award-winning theatre producer and director who has worked in both community theatre and co-op productions across Auckland.
Box Office Coordinator
Prior to her move to New Zealand, Amy worked for a marketing agency in London, specialising in paid search. She worked with theatre ticketing company LoveTheatre and has digital marketing experience in several industries, including the arts, retail and finance. Outside hours, Amy regularly participates in the performing arts, including theatre and dance.
Julia’s background is in education. After ten years as a secondary school Head of Drama in the UK, she left teaching and set up her own business as a freelance Drama Worker. Since then she has worked in UK, NZ & Germany in a variety of roles: Drama teacher, English tutor, professional roleplayer, adult educator, workshop facilitator, business-owner … and now Community Engagement Co-ordinator at The PumpHouse.
Venue Operations Coordinator
Before working at the PumpHouse, Stephen worked in a public library, at a payment technology company, for a government department, and on a farm – amongst a few other places. While his initial involvement in the performing arts was on stage, he branched out into the technical side of theatre, which eventually lead to this job.
