Group Visits to The PumpHouse Theatre

A trip to The PumpHouse Theatre is a fantastic way for groups to experience live performance together.

Capacity & Seating

  • Geneieve Becroft Auditorium capacity: 192 seats. Larger groups may need to split across multiple performances
  • All attendees must have a ticket and their own seat
  • Children under 23 months: free on a caregiver’s lap (must register on arrival)
  • Please advise accessibility needs (e.g. wheelchair seating) when booking

Arrival

  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, especially if mobility assistance is required.
  • If you are arriving by bus, please let your driver know they cannot come down into our car park. Our turning circle is too small, and buses get stuck. It’s a good idea to plan ahead of time with your bus driver as to where they can drop you.

Health and Safety

While The PumpHouse Theatre is generally a safe place to visit, we are situated next to a very deep freshwater lake, so some care must be taken. Because each organisation will have different needs, we do not have a pre-prepared Risk Assessment and Management Strategies (RAMS) document however, we have prepared a list of potential hazards to be mindful of.

Prams, car seats, capsules and school bags are not permitted in the auditorium. They may be left in designated areas in the theatre foyer.
