It’s an ordinary sunny day, a little blue penguin who just grew into his new feathers and followed his parents to the shore. Today will be his first expedition to the sea. This is destined to be an unforgettable day for him…
This puppet show is created by New Zealand Chinese artist Chan Zhang. With her rich imagination and exquisite hand-made creation, we are going to follow these lovely animals on an adventure. Oh, yes of course, there will be our child actor in the show from Felix Creative Theatre as well.
This is the first Chinese hand puppet show in mandarin in New Zealand, co-produced by Felix Creative Theatre and artist Chan Zhang. We hope to increase people’s awareness in animal welfare and marine environmental protection, while letting children discover the charm of Chinese language during the entertainment.
*There is a hand craft gift pack for all attending children, after each show there will be a workshop demonstrating how to make the puppet on your own, so you can bring your lovely puppet home.
