About
Join us at the North Shore Performing Arts Society’s 72nd Annual Senior Vocal Competition, a celebration of exceptional vocal talent from across Aotearoa New Zealand. It promises an unforgettable weekend of solo performances, culminating in the highly anticipated Becroft Aria Finals on Sunday, 31 May, proudly supported by The Becroft Foundation and Creative NZ Communities.
Past participants in this annual competition have gone on to achieve national and international recognition, including Natasha Te Rupe Wilson, Edward Laurenson, and Amina Edris.
The North Shore Performing Arts Society is proud to provide performers with a platform to showcase their artistry, celebrate progress alongside their peers, and gain valuable experience on a public stage – opportunities that might not be easily accessible elsewhere. We gratefully acknowledge our long-standing partnership with The PumpHouse, which has hosted our competitions since 1978. The auditorium was named the Genevieve Becroft Auditorium on 6 November 2017.
