Come and enjoy an afternoon of live music with the North Shore Concert Band as they continue their musical exploration of the world.
Last year we explored along the Silk Road and before that we tripped across the Americas.
This time we are back in our own neighbourhood, with some beautiful works from New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
Featuring works by Percy Grainger, Queen Lili’uokalani, & Kenneth Alford, alongside rarely heard traditional folk songs, sea shanties, and other kiwi classics. We will be helped along the way by a beautiful Samoan Choir.
Join us as we traverse the sounds of Oceania.
And as always don’t forget to bring a little cash for the raffle!
