About
Our much-loved annual Christmas Carols in the Amphitheatre are back! This year, we’re embracing the brand-new twilight start time of 7:30pm, giving everyone a little more shade, a little more night sky sparkle, and a lot less scorching!
The PumpHouse Community Choir will lead everyone in singing beloved Kirihimete songs and carols, filling our Amphitheatre with magic. Songbooks will be provided, so all you need to bring is your festive spirit.
Come and enjoy this fun event for the whole whānau!
🕯️ BYO battery-powered candle or torch/light-up device! (No live flames, please).

PAY WHAT YOU LIKE
Proceeds from our annual Christmas Carols event go directly to The PumpHouse Theatre, which is a registered charity. We have five different ticket prices – you are welcome to choose from these to pay what you’d like to help us continue to thrive as a vibrant arts hub on the North Shore.

THE OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATRE
Part of the magic of our Christmas Carols is that they are held in our enchanting Outdoor Amphitheatre. The Amphitheatre is general admission, so you can’t pre-book a specific seat or area.
Be prepared for the ever-changing weather conditions in Aotearoa. We recommend bringing along sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, mozzie spray, and a warm jacket just in case.
We provide small, thin cushions for extra comfort; however, you are welcome to bring your own! You can also bring a flat-base/no leg ‘festival chair’ like the one pictured below. You can find these chairs at places like Kmart, Bunnings and Mitre10. These are extra handy to have if you come to other events in our Amphitheatre, like the annual Shakespeare in the Park!
