Tutor Kendall Fricker is back to introduce you to the ancient and culturally significant craft of flax weaving.

Learn how the flax is cut and prepared, then complete a simple flax weaving project which you can take home. This will be a relaxing morning of creativity, companionship and learning for adults.

About the tutor

Kendall is head of Te Puawaitanga, the Maori Language unit at Birkdale Primary School. She’s also very laid-back, supportive and keen to help people learn.
