About

Sri Lanka Performing Arts Circle in NZ is a non-profit community based in Auckland which showcases the glamorous performing arts of Sri Lanka. Each year SPAC brings a variety of productions inspired by Sri Lankan performing arts in different shapes of form to our audience. This year we have gone into our traditional cultural roots to bring an amazing short drama festival.

This event comprises of four unique short dramas which will be performed by passionate and talented individuals (Sri Lankans) across Aotearoa. All of the productions will be inspired by unique elements of Sri Lankan culture and performing arts.

It is worth noting that all of the productions will primarily be performed in Sinhalese (native language of Sri Lanka) blended with other mediums.

Arts have no boundaries or language. This event will give you a glimpse of the rich performing arts culture of Sri Lanka and the great work our community does to enrich performing arts in Aotearoa
