Broken Quill Theatre presents a modern musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy set to a contemporary Pop-Punk score, performed by a live band.
Romeo and Juliet, two angst-filled teenagers, fall in love despite the disapproval of their parents. They go on a rampage of teenage rebellion before their love story is cut short with a tragic end.
The life and deaths of our star-cross’d lovers are told through songs by My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Evanescence and many other artists from the “Emo” era.
This production is perfect for secondary school Drama students and will come with a study resource pack if required.
