About

Take your stage management skills to the next level with a Masterclass from one of Auckland’s most experienced stage and production managers, Teresa Sokolich.

The Stage Management Masterclass is designed for experienced community theatre stage managers or emerging professionals who want to take their skills to the next level – perhaps progressing to bigger productions, wanting to learn new skills and strategies, or considering stage management as a career.

Teresa invites you to join her behind the scenes of Tadpole Theatre’s September season to see how she runs her productions – from budgets to production schedules, cue scripts to spike marks, she’ll use her very real production documents and set up on a live stage to demonstrate how she gets things done.

This four-hour workshop, held on a Saturday, is just $30 – an absolute bargain to learn from one of NZ’s leading theatre experts. It’s a great follow on from our Development Your Stage Management skills workshop held in May.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Teresa Sokolich has decades of experience as a professional Stage Manager, Producer and Production manager.

She is a founding member of Auckland Theatre Company where she also worked as the production manager and associate producer. She worked for Mercury Theatre, heading their Stage Management department and was Creative Director for L’Oreal events, designed and delivered SkyCity’s major events, and was the Theatre Manager for Waiheke’s Artworks Theatre.

Teresa is now a freelance Production Manager and Stage Manager while also training and mentoring the production crew on every show she is part of, teaching theatre skills from Read thru’ to Pack Out.
