About

“Prepare to die… of laughter and fun!”

Watch Westley and Buttercup’s epic tale unfold on the big screen. From daring sword fights (“You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.”) to thrilling escapes, this film has it all. And don’t forget, we’ll all be waiting for that classic line: “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”

Especially courageous adventurers are encouraged to dress up in their finest medieval garb, whether you’re a swashbuckling swordsman or a beautiful princess, come and showcase your best Princess Bride attire.

The night will be filled with excitement, including fabulous prizes for the best costumes. So, put on your thinking cap (or your Dread Pirate hat) and get creative. It’s inconceivable how much fun we’ll have!

Join us for an evening at The PumpHouse as we present a special showing of the timeless cult classic, The Princess Bride (1987), on Saturday 15th June, 6:30pm. This event is not just any movie night—it’s a fundraiser for our beloved theatre, and we need every hero and heroine to make it a success!

“Pay what you can” tickets are on sale now, and all proceeds will support The PumpHouse, helping us continue to bring magic to our stage. So, gather your friends, whānau, and anyone who loves a good adventure.
