setting up the venue
programming and plotting lighting
setting sounds cues and levels
rigging extra lights (and derigging after the event)
cleaning and resetting the venue at the end of the event.

Additional PumpHouse Staff

As standard, The PumpHouse provides a single venue technician to operate the standard PumpHouse lighting and sound equipment. If you have complex needs such as a live band, use of sound,lighting and projection at the same time, or complex lighting or sound, then you'll need an additional venue technician. You are welcome to provide your own technician to work with your venue technician.

Stage / Venue Setup

Stage Setup description

Theatre Drapes

The standard set-up for our main theatre stage drapes is red front house curtains, three black side curtains/tabs down each side of the stage, and a black curtain at the back of the stage in front of the white cyclorama. All curtains can be removed, while the cyclorama can be rolled up and put in the back right or back left corner of the stage. The red house curtain my remain hung at all times, either at the front or back of the stage.
