About

We’re celebrating our 40^th anniversary as a thriving, key venue in Auckland’s arts and cultural scene this year. Since 1977 the theatre space has seen hundreds of productions staged, hosted workshops, discussions and classes, and has nurtured generations of local arts enthusiasts.

On Saturday 6^th May, we’re throwing open their doors to the community.
Join us for:

Backstage tours and treasure hunt
Costume displays
Free entertainment including kapa haka, clowns, the PumpHouse Community Choir, buskers and face-painting
Food stalls

The event runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm with performances scheduled throughout the day and entry is free.
